Emmanuel Ato Yamoah

I am the founder and current president of Patriots Ghana Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) ((www.patriotsghana-knust.webs.com) chapter, a youth volunteering and social services organization. With my chapter I have championed various projects and events such as reproductive health, High School Mentoring and the I am Star Projects. Also under my leadership made donations to orphanages, clean up exercises, quizzes in schools, donations to schools, seminar for students, and financial assistance to the needy. I was responsible for the creation of partnership with the Ghana Education Service, Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana, Light for Children, The African Centre for Peace Building (www.afcopb.org), ), Social Support Foundation(www.ssfghnana.org), Esyllabus For Africa (www.esyllabustrial.artisteer.net) and other NGO’s and organizations for collaborative projects. I was one of the five member team of local and international volunteers that piloted the tuberculosis project in the Awutu Senya District with Cheerful Hearts Foundations.(www.cheerfulheartsfoundation.org) and also a volunteer and assistant project coordinator for child labor and trafficking project with the University of Washington the “Sankofa” Experience in Ghana since 2012. I am one of the volunteers and member of the pilot team with Beyond the Pivot, an NGO from Hong Kong University that embarks on projects on latrine construction, public health education, teaching etc.( http://hibtp.org/) for GO2A 2014.
I volunteered with CLED GHANA (www.cledghana.com) to conduct a research and seek solutions to children with learning disabilities and hate crime in the Awutu Senya District. I also volunteered to create a free website, social media pages and videos for Paca International foundation and iSmile International (GHANA) and did the same for my chapter (www.patriotsghana-knust.webs.com).. With the United Nations Online Volunteers platform, I have volunteered with the Center for Batwa Minorities (Uganda) and Organization for Abused and Battered Individuals (O.A.B.I-Trinidad and Tobago). I am reporter for Awake Africa Magazine (www.awakeafrica.org ) and in addition to general reports and articles, I make publications on all voluntary and social services activities. I have joined Narrow Gate Evangelism in community outreaches to five different villages (Kumawu Wonoo, Gyamfi Wonoo, Sakra Wonoo, Dotiem and Mankraso) and also joined the Young at Heart for the Learning Spree Jamboree and ICT Outreaches for rural communities such as Antwiagyeikrom, Boadi, Aboabogya and Okyerekrom in the Ashanti region.. I hold certificates from United States Institute Of Peace in Conflict Analyses, Interfaith Conflict Resolution , and Negotiation and Conflict Management, Also from IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre I have certificates in Costing Sustainable Services Modules 1,2 and 3 and then from Solar Energy International, a certificate in Introduction to Renewable Energy. I also took a course from the World Bank Institute in Reproductive Health-From Advocacy to Action and used the knowledge I gained to initiate a reproductive health project with Patriots Ghana.
